It took me around 45 mins to figure out and fix up what was making my blog display so weird in IE. Before fixing it up the lower part of the BLOG MENU and SIDE BAR could not be seen unless you clicked on the lowest appearing menu. Anyway this time all the menus are viewable and all links are working as well [however the way links look in IE are not as nice in Firefox; which has little stars]. The page links to MY GALLERIES extra pages was also missing in IE. This too has been fixed. Now my blog is atleast bearable in IE. I don't use IE unless I have too... so it took me awhile to notice these errors. Hopefully IE users can enjoy my blog now.
I have never been one to keep my devices *as is* when it comes to the OS/Firmware… This 2nd Treo 750 will be no different. So I dusted off my old Cheetah files [trivia: the Treo 750 is codenamed HTC Cheetah] and decided to HARD SPL [this allows for non-carrier branded ROMs to be loaded] and flashed it to a Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM. Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen… and the ROM loaded without any issues. I did notice that Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 was not included in this ROM not really a problem since I own the software as well. I’m currently syncing my PIM data and will be installing my apps over the next few days.
