I saw that Star Wars Battlefront from EA will be featured during Star Wars Celebration 2015. Good news for FPS gamers but what I want is an RTS set in the Star Wars Universe... Something like "Red Alert" or "StarCraft" Imagine it! Missions set in the Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, and possibly DLC / expansions for The Force Awakens!!! That would be so wizard!!! (See what I did there? Ha!)

Darthkegaw's Star Wars: Episode VII speculation & questions.  Since Lucasfilm has nuked most of the expanded universe (EU) to give them more creative freedom. The galaxy is the limit for where they can take the Star Wars saga to. The cast has also been announced.  We're pretty sure which roles the veterans are playing...  Harrison Ford wanted Han Solo to die in the OT. Do you think he will get his wish this time around? Of course it would be a heroic exit. Could this exit be the catalyst for their kid possibly Daisy Ridley to turn to the darkside and Uncle Luke then has to redeem her. Chewie could die with Solo or survive and carry-on with his life debt to Leia.  Andy Serkis will probably play an alien or some other. He is on top of virtual acting after all. I think Max von Sydow can go either as a bad guy or good guy (probably bad guy). Domhnall Gleeson could play Luke's son.  I hope Lando played by Billy Dee William's gets a cameo. STAR WARS SMUGGLER'S RUN from Oliver Thompson on Vimeo . Star Wars Smuggler's Run is a 22 minute fan film, that has been filmed on location at the original sets in Tunisia. The story is set between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Director Oliver Thompson has written an original story set within the Star Wars Universe. They used guerilla filmmaking techniques to make this movie and edited (video and SPFX) the project on a single Mac Book Pro. The music was composed by Gary Gibbons of World Worm Studios. The short film stars Warren Laker, Rodney Wong, James Gitsham and Kim Haslam, it features the voice talents of Russell Wait, Phil Bagshaw and James Gitsham. Star Wars Smuggler's Run was made over 14 months, they filmed in six countries with a cast and crew from all over the world. We filmed with a Scarlet (provided by Marc Oberdorfer of Young Indie Films) and a Sony A77 camera. The whole project was completed within a budget of just 10,000 USD and could not ha...
