Tips & Tricks|Adding Album Art to Windows Media Player

Here is a simple trick to add Album Art [yes you don't need an iPod Photo or higher] to your tunes, this works for Windows Media Player 10 [or higher] for both the Desktop and PocketPC.

What you need:
  1. The album art image [Google or Amazon is a good place to look for these covers]
  2. Tool to resize or edit the image [irfanview is great freeware app for this]
--
Step 1:
Get your image.
Step 2:
Edit or resize your image and save it as...
For the desktop you would need 2 images
Folder.jpg [250 px x 250 px is ok]
AlbumArtSmall.jpg [125 px x 125 px is ok]
For the PocketPC only 1 image is needed
Folder.jpg
Step 3:
Place images in the correct folder. Folder and AlbumArtSmall must be placed in the folder of the music files you want to have the album art for.
