Review // Concrete Angel

Gareth Emery’s newest vocal track features the wonderful pipes of Christina Novelli, released on Emery’s very own Garuda label. This pumping vocal trancer should be a mainstay in your summer playlist. You may grab your copy from beatport: http://www.beatport.com/release/concrete-angel/863611 Check out the video bellow:

Review // Lotus / Space Odyssey

This is a really nice release from Shogun. Uplifting trance has always been a fixture in my playlists and this two tracks absolutely make the cut. “Lotus” is an amazing vocal trancer and “Space Odyssey” has made it’s way to Armin van Buuren’s Universal Religion compilation series (it’s in chapter 5). I highly recommend getting this release and turning it up. Be sure to grab your copy from Audiojelly: http://www.audiojelly.com/releases/lotus-space-odyssey/216377

Review // Universal Language

Not to be confused with Mark Eteson’s track with the same name this release on Soundpiercing is from Mike Foyle and ReFeel, it comes w/ the original mix and Ben Gold remix. Loving the guitars on this track, sort of reminds me of something that Sunlounger would do but a whole lot trancier. You can grab your copy at Audiojelly: http://www.audiojelly.com/releases/universal-language/220862

Review // Afterglow

This collaboration between Ana Criado and Ronski Speed is a gem! The track is called Afterglow and I must say that Criado has an amazing set of pipes. It's no wonder she has been tapped time and time again by big name DJ's and producers as a vocalist. Ronski Speed in no slouch either, giving us a very enjoyable end result. This release includes three (3) tracks, Ronski Speed Remix, Ronski Speed Dub and last but not least a remix from Will Holland (my fave of the bunch). Lyrics c/o pureblissvocals Broken glass  Everywhere Pieces of my shattered heart I've been scattered  All around All alone This time I won't have my way Everything you promised me Nowhere in a million years You were gonna give  You were gonna keep to Or let go Four months later Still in denial  Waking up on the floor I still won't take it in  I won't believe  Let go How twisted  Love has turned When your eyes have lied to me In afterglow Afterglow How cruel The cracks won't sho...

Review // World Falls Apart

Dash Berlin and Jonathan Mendelsohn’s newest release is an amazing vocal trancer. If you attended Trance Energy Manila 2012 you may have heard this tune. Well it’s out now on Aropa (Dash Berlin’s label). It comes with three tracks a club, radio and a dub mix. Right now (for me) Dash Berlin can do no wrong. This track is no exception. Loving the club mix   Lyrics (c/o besttrancelyrics ): When the world falls apart I will hold you in my arms like a friend When the world’s unkind I will make you smile I will stay right by your side until the end Through the dark of night When no hope’s in sight When the walls start closing in I’ll be your friend When the world falls apart If you should ever feel so broken that you can’t go on When your world falls apart I will hold you in my arms like a friend When the world falls apart If you should ever feel so broken that you can’t go on When your world falls apart I will hold you in my arms like a friend Until the end When the world’s...

Review // Phoenix From The Flames (The Remixes)

One of my favorite tracks from last year was Boom Jinx feat Justine Suissa’s Phoenix From The Flames (in fact it’s the last review I posted last year) of course such a beautiful track deserves some remixes. Maor Levi and Michael Cassette are on duty for this release. I really like their take on this Boom Jinx / Suissa track. Truth be told, I’ve swapped out the Blizzard & Omnia remix with the Levi remix on my Essential playlist.
