Been using the TyTN II exclusively for almost 2 weeks now. And I must say that I'm loving the device for a guy who always gets lost the built in GPS is a God send. I am pretty pissed that there aren't a lot case choices available yet. Slept at around 12 - 12:30 last night woke up at 5AM to drive my dad to the airport and went straight to the office got here a 10 to 7 and had to wait 15 minutes since the guy that opened the 4th floor offices comes it around 7. South Eastern Feast

[Malaysian Style Beef Curry pictured above] -- My bro took better quality snaps with his DSC. We had the following for dinner at the Quanzhou Hotel's Thai Resto: Chicken Indian Green Curry, Lamb Satay, Beef Curry Malaysian Style, Tom Yang Soup, Stir fried Spinach, Butter and Durian Roti, White Rice and Ice cold Coke to wash it all down. Tahlap!!! We're going to Jin Jiang tomorrow to another factory and hosts. Tomorrow we'll probably be eating Chinese food... Yeah! Back in the Motherland...

Delayed Posts 22-Oct-07 11:45am -- Back in Xiamen, China we had to wait for a few minutes before our trader cum guide arrived they unfortunately had a flat on the way to fetch us at the airport. My mandarin isn't all that sharp I'll be the first to admit that. But from their conversation I've gathered that we're racing off to a factory before they go for lunch break to get something. Also the driver isn't so familiar with the destination so we're semi lost. Our guide has informed us that we'll be staying in Xiamen for the rest of the day because she has some business to finish here. We don't usually stay in Xiamen but go to nearby Quanzhou (1 to 1.5 hours by car). I wonder were we'll have lunch at. The factories will be on break from now to about 1 or 2 pm. Ok, we're having lunch here at 'My Best' a steak place they while driving. I ordered Steak and Foiegras since this trader is über cheap I'm going to hit em back by ordering the mo...

I was looking over my October cigarette consumption and I'm already over I think 25% reduction is a bit more than I can do at the moment. I might try going cold turkey. To Buy or Not To Buy? That Is the Question...

[HTC TyTN II] [hp iPAQ 900 Business Messenger] -- At first when the HTC TyTN II was announced I thought I wanted it, now I think I might hold off on getting one for myself and wait for the iPAQ 900 series. They have almost identical specs but differ dramatically in form factor. I've been using a QWERTY bar for almost 10 months now and it seems that I don't want to go back to a slider device. The iPAQ is supposed to be out by the end of the year [add some delays and we'll probably see it shipping by Q1 2008] while the TyTN II is out now [Euro versions are in stores now for a hefty 49,500 PhP]. -- I'm finally cutting my Globe line [after 10 years with them] by November. So my reliable Nokia 3120 might go to my sister, for her spare Smart SIM. I'm keeping my cheapo Nokia 1112 for my Sun SIM. My aging Treo 750v is definitely due for a replacement and I'm thinking of getting a TyTN II while waiting for the iPAQ 900.

ARMIN VAN BUUREN rocks A VENUE! -- Venue/Parking: A Venue, half finished and definitely rushed. It had a few parking slots there but Makati Ave. is really traffic on weekends and rain and a big event and you've got problems. Fortunately we rode with a friend who has a driver. The venue was a bit small and very hot! The A/C was sorely lacking... The lights, video walls, and fireworks were very very very cool though! HTC Gearing Up for Q4 2007: Geeks Rejoice!

HTC [High Tech Corporation] the Windows Mobile behemoth... is at it again they've announced the HTC TyTN II the successor to the very popular HTC TyTN , the Mark II will go on sale by mid-October [anyone getting me this baby as a birthday present?]. They've also announced 4 more devices. 2 Windows Mobile Professional Devices [read: PocketPC Phone], 1 Windows Mobile Standard [read: Smartphone], and an UMPC [Ultra Mobile Personal Computer]. The HTC 6500 , HTC Touch Dual , a refresh of the HTC Touch , and the HTC S730 Smartphone. Their first foray into UMPCs the HTC Shift is said to be shipping this November as well. -- It would be interesting how I can juggle my budget to get a taste of the TyTN II, the Shift, and hp's iPAQ 900 series. I need a get rich quick scheme.
