Sun GPRS/3G and MMS Settings

Activating the service:

Send: ACTIVATE To: 2300

Don't have AutoConfig on your Windows Mobile device? Don't worry here's how to manually input the connection settings for both GPRS/3G and MMS on the Sun Network
--
For GPRS/3G

    1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections [tab] > Connections
    2. Under My ISP > Tap create new modem connection
    3. Name it something easy to remember I use: Sun Internet
    4. In the drop down select: Cellular Line (GPRS,3G) tap Next
    5. Access point name: minternet (use: fbband if you are using call & surf)
    6. Tap Finish
For MMS Settings
    1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections [tab] > Connections
    2. Under My Work Network > Tap create new modem connection
    3. Name it something easy to remember I use: Sun MMS
    4. In the drop down select: Cellular Line (GPRS,3G) tap Next
    5. Access point name: mms
    6. Tap Finish
MMS Application
    1. Open your MMS application and go to Settings/Options
    2. Under Server > add a new Server name it: Sun MMS
    3. Gateway: 202.138.159.78
    4. Port: 9201
    5. Server address: http://mmscenter.suncellular.com.ph
    6. Connect via: My Work Network
    7. Tap Ok and set it as default
for GLOBE
for SMART

  1. I followed your instructions to the letter but it wont work for me. I tried using it with my HTC Magician (Imate Jam) with Windows Mobile 2003 SE.

  4. what should i do to my sun gprs, its always connection failed and sometimes gprs not supported but my gprs name is sun internet then my apn is wap,sun internet and mms, still not working, and my phone is eTouch 606 pro

  5. @jr your APN should be minternet for regular sun cellular line. fbband if you are using sun broadband wireless
