Pork Adobo, one of the most popular Pinoy dishes made with soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, and pork. However over the years I have tasted a lot of ADDobo dishes, it’s your basic Adobo dish with some extenders. Here are a few:
- Adobo w/ Egg
- Adobo w/ Labong (Bamboo shoots)
- Adobo w/ Puso ng Saging (banana heart)
- Adobo w/ Tofu (or Tokwa)
- Adobo w/ Dried Pusit
- Adobo w/ Chicken (aka Chick-boy for Chicken + Baboy)
- Adobo w/ Potatoes
- Adobo w/ Shitake Mushrooms
- Adobo w/ Sea Cucumber
there's one called "Adobo sa Gata".. Mum knows how to cook it and it's definitely a variation to the traditional Adobo.. I think it's served at the Chicken Inasal Resto also..
ReplyDeleteHi Cammy thanks for sharing. What is the extra ingredient of Adobo sa Gata? Or is it a different way of cooking?
