Finally able to connect and surf using SoftBank I had to switch over from NTT DoCoMo which was able to connect but unable to navigate. I wish I can find a free wif hotspot though I' sure roaming data charges would be expensive but I can't stay disconnected for too long the price of mobility I guess.
