Globe GPRS/3G and MMS Settings

Don't have AutoConfig on your Windows Mobile device? Don't worry here's how to manually input the connection settings for both GPRS/3G and MMS on the Globe Network

For GPRS/3G

  1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections [tab] > Connections
  2. Under My ISP > Tap create new modem connection
  3. Name it something easy to remember I use Globe Internet
  4. In the drop down select: Cellular Line (GPRS,3G) tap Next
  5. Access point name: internet.globe.com.ph tap Next -> nb [28-Jan-07]: user nameless from PWM.net says that Globe has changed this to http.globe.com.ph, he also advices to change the Proxy Settings from WAP to HTTP and add the following 203.177.42.214. [thread located here]
  6. Tap Finish
For MMS Settings

  1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections [tab] > Connections
  2. Under My Work Network > Tap create new modem connection
  3. Name it something easy to remember I use Globe MMS
  4. In the drop down select: Cellular Line (GPRS,3G) tap Next
  5. Access point name: mms.globe.com.ph tap Next
  6. Tap Finish
MMS Application

  1. Open your MMS application and go to Settings/Options
  2. Under Server > add a new Server name it: Globe MMS
  3. Gateway: 192.40.100.20
  4. Port: 9201
  5. Server address: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
  6. Connect via: My Work Network
  7. Tap Ok and set it as default
for SMART
for SUN
