ADD-obo (yes, I added 2 D’s to Adobo)

Pork Adobo, one of the most popular Pinoy dishes made with soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, and pork. However over the years I have tasted a lot of ADDobo dishes, it’s your basic Adobo dish with some extenders. Here are a few:
  1. Adobo w/ Egg
  2. Adobo w/ Labong (Bamboo shoots)
  3. Adobo w/ Puso ng Saging (banana heart)
  4. Adobo w/ Tofu (or Tokwa)
  5. Adobo w/ Dried Pusit
  6. Adobo w/ Chicken (aka Chick-boy for Chicken + Baboy)
  7. Adobo w/ Potatoes
  8. Adobo w/ Shitake Mushrooms
  9. Adobo w/ Sea Cucumber
Have you tried any other variation of the Adobo? Sound off in the comments.

  1. there's one called "Adobo sa Gata".. Mum knows how to cook it and it's definitely a variation to the traditional Adobo.. I think it's served at the Chicken Inasal Resto also..
