On Thursday, Jan26th it was revealed that Ministry of Sound had acquired the record label Hed Kandi along with the Enterprise Records division of Smooth FM (formerly Jazz FM) from Guardian Media Group Radio Holdings for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition includes all associated labels of the GMG Radio Records division including One Two Records.

According to MoS execs they will keep the core values of 'Kandi' [which is good news] and of course MoS is a bigger company so hopefully Kandi will improve and grow as a sub-label under them.
