ACP La Union Trip [aka Bel's Beach Bash]
November 25 - 28, 2005
'Villa Surla', Bauang La Union,Philippines

Day 1: November 25, Friday
Left the office early on Friday [the 25th] and went to Bel's house to meet up with the others for our ACP La Union trip. We had a lite dinner. Then were on our way to LU... Car 1 [callsign: ALPHA]: Moj/Bel, Tiu/Cams, Kaye, Me, and 'Brownie' [the driver] we met up with Car 2 [callsign: OMEGA] Yap/Kim and By/Lea in a Petron Gas Station along NLEX [North Luzon Expressway],we had some coffee, a few cigs and were on our way. We departed from Metro Manila at around 9pm and arrived at Bel's Beach Crib at around 1am.

Day 2: November 26, Saturday
2am: We relaxed for a bit took some photos, checked out our room assignments. Saw something cool! Check it!: So there was a Salagubang on the ground since I like playing with all sorts of critters I picked it up so Moj could do his photo-magik [he brought his digital SLR camera], suddenly the bug flew away... straight into a spider's web... it was stuck and the spider was quickly pressing the attack [WOW NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC ANG DATING!!!], after a few seconds the spider pulled away re-inforced it's web [it added some silk to key areas I guess] then went back to have it's supper [KEWL!!!]. It was really hard to get nice pics of this exchange because they were moving quite a bit and it was dark. SO you had the dilemma of using a flash [this would over light the image and no detail could be seen] or you could use digital macro [no flash for extreme close ups and detail; not enough lighting for a nice shot though]. We had a few drinks to wind down the day [4am].

Woke up around 9am, most of the people were still asleep so we had some breakfast and lounged around for a bit. Finally got to test my under watercase! Really happy with it and we had quite a pics taken in the pool :o)just before sunset somebody said we should go to the beach, anyway the way wasn't as easy as we anticipated [lot's of slippery rocks] actually scraped my shin and got a small wound on my foot. Traversing the rocks was easy but when we were headed back the waves were getting stronger and it was a bit testing. Fortunately we were able to get some nice sunset shots. We sang a few songs on the Karaoke. Yap, Kim and I decided to return to our room and watch Smallville Season 5 [I've a upto Epsiode 8] we then had dinner and had a rest [watched more Smallville!], at around 10pm we all went and watched SAW on DVD [if you haven't seen it yet... DO IT!!!] really great flick after the movie it was time for some more hanging around and drinking... we ended actually quite early at around 2:30am, just enough time for another episode of Smallville before going to bed.

Day 3: November 27, Sunday
Woke up at 9am, Had a few cigs took some more pics. I don't think anyone is up yet... [or they just don't want to come out their rooms... yet :D]. Spent most of the day in the pool had a lot of fun and took a lot of photos! They played UNO [the card game] till sunset I fell asleep for around 30 mins as I drank a little vodka and sprite. After dinner me, Cams, Kim went to watch the pilot of 'The 4400' really cool! We then went down for some drinks and ended the day at around 2:30am

Day 4: November 28, Monday
Time to go home... Everyone woke up early [ok my pocket pc's alarm went of prematurely at 7:45am it was supposed to go off at 9am; sorry room mates] We had some breakfast and were off. When we got back to Manila Tiu, Cams and I went to buy some DVDs [4400 na!!!] we then met up with Yap, Kim and Kaye and had dinner at Tempura, Shoty and Ary joined us straight from Subic and then we had desert and coffee at Ashcreek [Starbucks and ICE MONSTAHHH!]. Just got home and took a shower... I think it will take time to upload all the images they have to be screened after all.

This was a great long weekend a perfect escape... Thanks Bel! :D
